Pipe Penetration
PROBLEM:
Water seeping around pipe penetrations, such as gas, water, sewer and electrical lines, is a common problem. The reason they leak is because they are merely sealed with a temporary patch from the interior during original construction. This usually fails over time, allowing water to seep around the penetration and into your basement.
SOLUTION:
Epoxy / Urethane Injection
Our Estimator will typically recommend sealing the penetration from the interior using our Epoxy/Urethane Injection Process, which is the same process we utilize to repair cracks from the interior. As opposed to a patch, this method actually fills the void around the pipe, creating a waterproof gasket. When the interior method is not practical, the problem may also be corrected from the exterior using a variety of different solutions.
